Colors are another important element in the project: Hanazaki often values earthy hues and nuances of sand and stone because they facilitate the connection between the product, architecture, and nature. The chosen tones – beige and brown – also feature the effect of micro-granules, which provide a modern and three-dimensional look. The partnership between Portinari and Alex Hanazaki continues in 2025: the second collection of products signed by the landscape designer combines aesthetic sophistication and technological innovation. Famous for valuing the simplicity of forms and the purity of lines in the search for pure beauty and the harmonious integration between architecture and nature, Hanazaki brings to this project his characteristic style, which combines the elegant design with naturalness in the compositions. This collaboration resulted in a product line of sintered stones produced with high-end technology. Standing over three meters long, the products of the Petra Alex Hanazaki collection reflect the essence of the studio, whose language explores continuity, amplitude and balance. The central aspect of the design is the thin and elongated lines in bas-relief, arranged in parallel and strategically interrupted to create a fluid and dynamic visual movement on the surface of the pieces.
